In case you missed it, hip hop living legend Eminem has just broken his own world record for ‘fastest rap’ with his new single "Godzilla". Even at the age of 47, Marshall Bruce Mathers (real name) is showing the world that still got it and hasn't slowed down one bit.
Eminem released Music To Be Murdered By on January 17, 2020, his brand new album which features guest appearances from Young M.A., Q-Tip, Ed Sheeran, Anderson Paak, Juice WRLD, and others.
The record breaking verse is on the track ‘Godzilla’, which features Juice WRLD and on the 3rd verse, Mr. Slim Shady himself raps so quickly that he breaks his own record set by ‘Rap God’ back in the day.
On this historic ‘Rap God’, Eminem’s fastest verse is broken down to 9.6 syllables-per-second. On the third verse of ‘Godzilla’, Eminem raps 229 words in 30 seconds. That breaks out to 7.6 words-per-second or 11.3 syllables-per-second.
